Viewers see the camps with a focus on the issues of health, unemployment, education and the cultural memory of this community of refugees expelled in 1948 and 1967 from their homes in historic Palestine. It is time that the palestinian people get their fair share of freedom and justice. Israel ia a state built on unjustice. They are still trying to grab the paletinian territories by building settlements in the Westbank and elsewhere. There will be no peace before these people are given their own land and can establish their own Gov. All those who make smart remarks are those who are ignorant and have never lived any kind of hardship.

I'd like to mention with respect to the scrolling message in the end, that the Israeli invasion to Lebanon was in response to the Hizballah militia's crossing of the internationally recognized border from Lebanon to Israel, killing 8 Israeli soldiers and kidnapping 2 others. Israel did not provoke this attack.

People blame Israel for living in an area which they were granted to return yet no one says anything to the countries like Lebanon who house these "refugees" and do not grant them citizenship for example.

The continual bombing and destitute conditions of the refugee camps demonstrate the intentional ethnic cleansing of the Middle East from the Palestinians. It is not enough for the Palestinians to be outside of the state of Israel and without a home, but Israel still carries out missions to 'ensure their security' by unprovoked bombings in the Palestinian refugee camps.

sorry comment to wrong video below...however this what I had to say: It is difficult to fathom the systematic erasure of a displaced people in modern times. I appreciate the fact that this narrative is a means to preserve the cultural identity of a misunderstood exiled community. The glimpses provided tares down preconceived notions that I had of the Palestinian people. Why doesnt a narrative like this be shown at the National stage in the United States on primetime televesion?
