Jesus Christ's greatest attribute is mercy. I am sure Jesus Christ offered John mercy and I am sure John accepted Christ. John was no fool. He was always looking for peace and love and even accepted Jesus Christ quite publically. Read the book, The Gospel According to the Beatles. It tells of John accepting Christ. Around the time when John was wearing the cross. Heck, he has the cross on in this video and also the NYC photo shots where he wears the muscle shirt..

If a nations people allow about 3000 babies to be killed everyday, they probably won't mind invading Iraq, I mean Iran, or pushing some other gee-awful button.
