=P
Remember, neither the Parthians or Sassanids were Persian.
Last war between the roman empire and persia, between Heraclius and Khosroes, ended with a overwhelming roman victory. The sassanids never recovered and Persia fell to the muslims shortly thereafter.
The last war definately did not change the overall victory of the Sassanids over the Romans. Sassania was only conquered because they were fighting with several advesaries including the Huns, Omanis and Romans from all fronts for around 600 years. The Arabs did conquer alot of Roman land as well. Rome and Sassania were fighting together against Arabs
Respect though to the Persian stood there !
